Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center is hiring for Full Time Orthopedic Surgical Technologist.. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Orthopedic as well as experience in other specialties. Specialties include, ENT, GYN, Ortho, Neuro, Endo, General, Podiatry and Urology. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am -4:30 pm. Medical, Dental, Vision and Life benefits offered. Profit sharing and 401K are also offered. Candidate must meet Oregon State Requirements for Surgical Technologists.
- Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and their use in the surgery environment
- Demonstrates knowledge of a scrub technician’s duties
- Demonstrates knowledge of a scrub technician’s duties
- Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, center/service safety, and specific jobrelated hazards.
- Follows the center exposure control plans/bloodborne and airborne pathogens.
- Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.
- Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a center/unit team inter- and intracenter to facilitate the center’s/unit’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
- Maintains accurate documentation.
- Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Is characterized by an abundant use of detail and thoroughness. Has an organization within their approach to the job that allows them to anticipate the needs of the physician and patient.
Mechanically Inclined
Understanding of design, structure and ability to use operating room tools. Able to anticipate and eliminate sources of trouble within the mechanical operations of surgical tools. Acting from an understanding and perception of the parts and interrelations of the surgical team’s needs.
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6:00 am 6:00 pm, No Weekends, No Holidays, No Call. Pay Depending on experience. 401K Match, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, Employee Quarterly bonus program.
